This week we are delighted to welcome Dena Chadderton as Finance Director and Compliance Officer and Ben Gilbert as non-executive Director.
Dena Chadderton
Dena is a chartered accountant and was previously a consultant at Bovill where she supported a number of crowd-funding and peer-to-peer platforms working towards their full permissions with the FCA.
Prior to Bovill, she worked for Crowd-Shed, a start-up crowd funding platform and she also held a number of senior roles in the financial services industry including Finance Director at Octopus Investments and New World Investment Manager and Financial Controller at Polar Capital.
Ben Gilbert
Ben is an experienced P2P lender, underwriter and Director of one of our key partners, Broadoak Private Finance.
Prior to his current activities, Ben worked at Natwest and RBS Financial Markets where he headed a team responsible for hundreds of millions of pounds of investments and loans. Ben’s banking background as well as his experience in the P2P lending industry will add to the diverse expertise of our Board.
Dena and Ben are the first of the NewThings to join us this year as part of our plan to recruit the best people to support our growth plans.
